Department of Justice Files Statement of Interest in Virginia First Amendment Case



The Justice Department’s filing came 10 days after U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr asked the department to be on the lookout for cases around the country where coronavirus restrictions are unfairly impinging on civil liberties.

President Trump Declares Houses of Worship "Essential" Places that Provide Essential Services

CDC issuing guidance at President Trump direction. President Trump said many governors gave exemptions to liquor stores and abortion providers as essential services but did not provide the same exemptions. The President said it is very important that governors open houses of worship immediately and if they do not, he will override governors. I'll update as soon as CDC guidance is issued.
